This pioneering design marks APL’s bold entrance into the realm of classic luxury, tennis and pickleball sport shoes reinforcing our position as the undisputed leader in luxury performance.

With a nod to old-school charm and contemporary innovation, the Nostalgia ‘87 strikes an impeccable balance between fashion and function. The classic design, with the highest quality leather upper materials and a revolutionary, liquid nitrogen-infused, supercritical fluid formed midsole, is softer, lighter and highly responsive to each step.

The Nostalgia ’87 with its meticulously handcrafted upper boasts supple, tumbled full-grain leather panels, framed by precision-cut floating trim pieces that create sharp, clean lines and a distinctive aesthetic. Subtle embossed logos on the tongue and heel enhance the luxurious materials with a refined touch of branding, while the silhouette’s athletic inspiration pays homage to the court sports of the 1980s, offering an elegant interpretation of lifestyle footwear.

Beneath the surface is where the Nostalgia ‘87 truly sets itself apart. The shoe features a lightweight, engineered cup sole paired with our revolutionary full-length internal HySpeed® performance midsole. This hidden gem delivers unparalleled comfort, seamlessly blending cushioning and support for an unmatched wearing experience. The inclusion of our APL Soufflé Sockliner further elevates the in-shoe comfort to unprecedented levels, ensuring your feet are enveloped in softness with every step.

At its core, the Nostalgia ‘87 embodies the essence of APL: a fusion of athleticism, performance, and luxury.  Step into the Nostalgia ’87 and experience the epitome of engineered excellence, designed for the discerning individual who demands the best in performance, style and comfort.
